Strike The Box Woodworks started with one simple goal: build unique pieces the right way.

My name is Wyatt, and I’m a firefighter in the western suburbs of Chicago. The same mindset I bring to the job carries into my wood shop — show up, pay attention to the details, take pride in the work, and don’t cut corners.

I grew up watching my dad remodel the house and build stuff in the shop, and as I got older I slowly gained an interest in building things. When I moved into my own home and begin remodeling things slowly, thats when my love for woodworking and carpentry took off. Eventually my woodworking projects made their way into the firehouse, and since then it has grown into something worth putting a name on.

Strike The Box is about building pieces that are useful, personal, and made to last.
